What is Databitat
Databitat is context infrastructure for buildings. It brings documents, notes, conversations, and data together as structured memory that remains understandable over time.
Information does not sit in isolated folders: it keeps the place it belongs to, the people involved, its permissions, and its change history.
How the guides are organized
Getting started explains the model and points each responsibility in the right direction. Guides solve specific tasks; recommended workflows connect several tasks in real scenarios; reference defines product rules.
Best practices explain how to build useful memory. Each entry has its own page, and Previous and Next follow the recommended reading order.
Where to start
Start with How Databitat is organized and Choose your starting point. Then open a specific task or follow the workflow closest to your situation.
You do not need to read everything in order: every guide also works as a standalone reference.
Documentation that grows with the product
Databitat is still in development. These pages explain the stable model and guarantees; step-by-step flows will be added as each part of the interface matures.
When product behavior and this documentation diverge, we treat it as an issue to correct.
